Mission: As an intern for Sodexo USA Food Services at SUNY New Paltz, I design posters, menus and other marketing material to promote dining events on campus.
Ideas: I spend time brainstorming and sketching before I start digitally rendering my ideas. Incorporating feedback from colleagues and students, I am able to strengthen my designs. The turnaround for these posters is fast, so I sketch only a few iterations before actually rendering them on the computer.
World Vegan Day Branding: I designed the branding for World Vegan Day 2019 at SUNY New Paltz, which included a poster, two menus and a sticker.
Posters: Whether I am designing for a tea party or a bodacious burger event, large graphics, bright colors and high contrast are important for attracting the attention of busy college students. Here are some other examples of my poster designs.
Instagram Highlight Iconography: I designed simple universal graphics for the two Instagram accounts run by SUNY New Paltz Dining Services.
Suggestions Box Design and Fabrication: As part of my internship for Sodexo Food Services at SUNY New Paltz, I designed this suggestions box for Peregrine Dining Hall. The fabrication process included taking measurements, creating sketches, modeling, rendering, and laser cutting with both wood and acrylic.
